Hello!
My name is Kallie Lauren Kay and I am from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I will be traveling with a team of racers to Granada, Nicaragua and Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica! This is my first trip with the World Race and I’m so ready to see what God is going to do through our team while on the field!
I love to sing, play guitar and piano, and dance. Music has always been a part of my life, and I’m hoping that I can use this passion of mine to connect to my fellow racers and those that we will be serving on the field.
I grew up as a navy brat, so moving around and seeing new places has always been something i’ve loved, but I have never been to either Nicaragua or Costa Rica, so I’m looking forward to checking two more countries off of my list. I belive that God created this beautiful crazy world for His enjoyment and for ours so that we can see his glory displayed all around us. He’s going to reveal himself in mighty ways to us while on this trip!
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
This is probably the most common verse used for missions. Although the beginging of the verse explicitaly lays out what our mission is, the last part of the verse gets me the most excited! It’s Jesus’ promise to us. He will be with us always. We are not on this mission alone. We have the God of Angel armies on our side, so whom shall we fear?
My prayer for myself and the rest of this team is that we can truly feel God’s presence with us every step of the way as we go carry out the great commission.
